Jordan is an alumnus of Determined to Succeed (DTS). He embarked on his journey with DTS during his high school years and continued his journey in college. His educational journey culminated in a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Merced, in May of 2023.
During his eleventh-grade year, Jordan encountered challenges, as he struggled with truancy and witnessed a decline in his academic performance. It was during this critical period that DTS intervened, providing invaluable support precisely when he needed it most. Through their assistance, Jordan was able to regain his emotional and academic footing.
Today, he is equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to extend a helping hand to younger students, empowering them to develop the self-confidence and skills they need to thrive both within and outside the classroom.
