Spotlight on Summer Internships

“I am spending the summer in Aurora, Colorado and working for the Aurora Community Connections Center (ACC). ACC is a family resource center for low-income, Spanish speaking Latino immigrants.  I will be developing and implementing an academic tutoring program for English language learners ages 5-11. I will also be part of the Science Can Be Fun program and Service Learning/Leadership programs for high school students.”

“This summer I am interning with Johnson & Johnson’s Consumer Development department.  I will specifically be working on the Customer Strategy for self-care products with a focus on Tylenol. I hope to learn asmuch as I can about consumer development, marketing, and the industry as a whole. It will be my first job with a major corporation and I am excited to experience this distinct work environment.”
