UCLA Tour

On Saturday a group of nearly 70 DTS students, parents and siblings joined Stephanie and Johanny in exploring UCLA.  Participants enjoyed brunch at Covel Dinning hall, took a campus tour, and visited the library. A special thanks to our UCLA student hosts, Valerie, Melissa, Kylie, and Chelsey. They not only took us around campus but openly shared the experience they have had thus far in college.  They highlighted the importance of living on campus, being social, being resourceful, looking into study abroad opportunities and asking questions.  They also told DTS students to get familiar with the financial aid office, scholarship office, first generation office, and of course, the library! Another special thanks to Alicia Riley, Powell Library Outreach Coordinator, for coming in on a Saturday and putting this lovely day together for our large group!
