Up Close with Acceleration

Thank you to Michael Nyman, Chairman of Acceleration Community of Companies, and his team for planning and hosting our recent career exploration visit. Students were introduced to some of the distinct jobs within the large group of marketing companies. The highlight was an employee panel of first-generation college graduates who spoke about their careers and answered students’ questions. The visit expanded awareness of the myriad of professions available to those with a college degree.  An 11th grader shared, “I liked the honesty of the panelists. Their ability to overcome challenges on the path to their careers motivates me to keep working hard.”
