A huge thank you to Narda Malakzad and Lauren Stewart for creating the amazing first annual DTS Morning Health and Wellness Retreat on October 19th! The event benefitted and celebrated the recent addition of a full health and wellness curriculum to the DTS program. We spent the morning engaged in meditation, yoga, and an educational nutrition program led by celebrity nutritionist Kelly LeVeque. Kelly shared her wealth of knowledge for establishing a healthy lifestyle that’s pragmatic and fulfilling, and we all enjoyed samples of her delicious smoothie bowls and other recipes. Thank you to Kelly, our host committee, and all of our generous event sponsors. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
